This Classic Collection necklace was hand fabricated by Designer Kimberly Arpaia and Goldsmith Robert Lang. Each piece in the small one-off artisan collection took the Arpaia-Lang team days to weeks to make.

This feminine women's necklace is woven in a loose Byzantine pattern with handmade 1mm twisted wire rings. Each ring is fusion-welded closed for security.

This necklace exudes a rich royal gold color. The core metal is solid 925 sterling silver. After fabrication, the necklace was heavily plated with 24K yellow gold to exceed federal vermeil plating standards and guarantee the highest plating quality and metal finishing by using advanced technologies to ensure optimal results.

The twisted rings have luxurious dual shiny-polished & matte-satin finishes that pair beautifully with the handmade 24K yellow gold vermeil twisted wire wreath-motif toggle clasp. 

Necklace Dimensions: This necklace measures approximately 22.25" in overall length with the toggle clasp closed. The Byzantine chain's diameter is about 3/8 inches. The round end of the toggle clasp is about 5/8 inches in diameter and the bar end is approximately 1 inch in length. 

Sizing Comments: The necklace's 8.5mm diameter (thickness) and the toggle clasp take up room around the neckline. As a result, this necklace fits smaller than a regular flat necklace of the same length. For proper fit, a toggle clasp necklace should be at least slightly slack around the neck (not snug). The model's measurement around the base of her neck is 13.75 inches.
